While the Nighthawks are already set to send five players to the 2026 NECBL All-Star Game on Sunday, July 26, 2026, Upper Valley fans have a chance to help one more player earn a spot on the North Division roster.
Upper Valley Nighthawks starting pitcher Trey Sejnoha is one of six players nominated for the 2026 NECBL All-Star Game North Division Fan Vote.
“I'm honored to be part of the fan vote, and hopefully I can join the guys there,” Sejnoha said.
No stranger to the Upper Valley, Sejnoha completed his second season as a member of the Dartmouth College bullpen in 2026 before joining the Nighthawks this summer.
The right-hander has been the anchor of the Upper Valley rotation and sits within the top 10 in the NECBL with 34 strikeouts. The 22-year-old has pitched to a 2.67 ERA across 27 innings in eight appearances and seven starts.
Those numbers include four scoreless innings against the North Shore Navigators in his most recent start Monday night.
“Just trusting the process, trying to put a whole season together,” Sejnoha said. “Playing summerball, [I] haven't got to do that in the past. Getting to be here for a whole summer is nice. It’s nice to finally put a whole year together, especially starting.”
Sejnoha would join James Love, Frank Kelly, Nick Quagliato, Charlie Jones and Brendan Walker in representing the Nighthawks at Goodall Park in Sanford, Maine, home of the Sanford Mainers.
“We got a lot of talented players, a lot of pitchers on our team, a lot of position guys on our team,” Sejnoha said. “It'd be really cool to go and do that, but however it works out, it works out.”
Fans can vote for Sejnoha by commenting the pitcher’s name on the NECBL’s Instagram post. Voting will close on Thursday, July 23, at 11:59 p.m.
