Chase Allen Named 2026 Manager
Dayton Assistant Coach becomes 6th Manager in Hawks History
White River Junction, VT - Chase Allen has been named the new Field Manager of the Nighthawks for the 2026 season. He becomes the sixth Field Manager in Nighthawks history, following Mat Pause (2023-2025), Justin Devoid (2021-2022), Keller Bradford (2019), Jason Szafarski (2017-2018), and Nick Cenatiempo (2016).
Chase earned his BA Sports Management from Michigan, while pitching four years for the Wolverines. He was a member of the NECBL's Newport Gulls in 2022, and finished his playing career with the Charlotte 49ers in 2025 before joining the Dayton staff.
Serving as a captain for his senior year at Michigan and at Charlotte, Allen has mentored younger players and developed positive team environments, skills that are top priorities for the Nighthawks and their culture-focused environment. In his career, he struck out 140 batters in 194 innings. He had a 15-8 record with a 6.12 ERA.
Chase is currently an Assistant Coach with the A10 Conference' Dayton Flyers.
